Begin Your Healing Journey at Our Peaceful Practice!
The First Visit
On your first visit, you will have a consultation and tour of the office, followed by an examination with Dr. Sarah. We will invite you to watch a video that shows you what to expect during your treatment. You can expect a palpation, examination and X-rays on the first visit.
We also will do a preliminary scan of your spine using the ProAdjuster instrument. This state-of-the-art technology measures exactly where the joints are misaligned. Dr. Sarah will take all that information to create a full picture. This appointment takes about an hour.
The Second Visit
During this visit, Dr. Sarah will present to you a clinical report of findings to let you know exactly what is causing your problem, if we can help you or not, and what your insurance would cover. This visit takes about 30 minutes.
The Third Visit
On the third day, you would meet with our insurance department to review what your insurance benefits are and a financial report of findings. We want you to be comfortable and confident knowing that we can get you the results you’re looking for at an affordable rate. Expect this appointment to take 30 minutes.
Our Three Types of Care
We have three different types of care you can choose from in our clinic:
Relief care: During this first phase of care, our primary goal is to relieve your pain and start to help your body experience relief from the acute or chronic pain that you’ve been having.
Corrective care: At this point, your pain should be 50-100% resolved. We will have you move through the last 25-50% of the pain or discomfort to make sure it’s completely resolved. This phase is also a critical time to create structural stability, so the problem doesn’t return. We will give you exercises to do at home and the clinic.
As we complete the secondary phase of care the problems should be corrected, and the muscles, tendons and ligaments should be adapted to the vertebra being in the correct position. We then would ask if you would like to consider moving into wellness care.
Wellness care: During this stage of care, which is usually once a month or once every eight weeks, we will help you maintain the progress you’ve made. Most of our patients know what it’s like to be in pain and never want to go back.
Do I Have to Go Forever?
While it’s always your choice how long you want to be under care, look at chiropractic care as a natural way to keep your body tuned – much like you maintain the longevity of your car with regular oil changes. You also get your teeth cleaned, not because you have pain, but because you want to maintain oral health. After all, spinal hygiene is just as important as oral hygiene. If you can maintain a healthier spine, you can prevent a relapse and save money on health care in the long run.
